THE BLOOM

The Bloom Series is a groundbreaking documentary web series by Jeet-Kei Leung and Akira that illuminates the blossoming phenomenon of Transformational Festivals; immersive participatory realities that are having profound life-changing effects on hundreds of thousands of lives. Over the course of 4 episodes and 23 transformational festivals around the globe, “The Bloom Series: A Journey Through Transformational Festivals” explores a new “blooming” of human consciousness emerging through creativity, love and joy as part of an emerging culture pointing the way to a bright and promising future. Expanding into an online festival inspired clothing and jewelry collection, The Bloom Collection needed to launch with an online store featuring the latest festival-inspired trends and conscious clothing.

Bloom Collection Photoshoot CREATIVE ART DIRECTION: Amy Muranetz

My role as Creative Director including primarily managing and organizing our team of 24 crew members, including videographers, photographers, make-up artists, and models. Our deliverables included two fully themed photoshoots comprising 50+ photos per theme, along with video trailers for the website and documentary series. The art direction for the Bloom Collection Photoshoot was inspired by two main themes: Urban Cosmo & Mythic Divine. I curated a collection of items inspired by these themes from the Bloom Collection’s artisans, and gathered a group of models involved in festival culture. Working closely with the photographer, my role included scouting the photoshoot locations and supporting models and photographer in capturing our core themes.
